Job placement
We help course graduates in the following ways:
- The University of Cambridge has a free job placement service for successful CELTA graduates. The application form which gives details of work worldwide is given to each graduate.
- Practical advice, tips and assistance are given to course participants on an ongoing basis during the course and in a job help session.
- Milner College is asked from time to time by Australian and overseas colleges to recruit teachers. We give first preference to our CELTA graduates.
- On average, Milner College offers employment to 2 or 3 graduates from each course; more from the July and August courses.
- Worldwide, demand for CELTA trained teachers has greatly exceeded supply for several years. The indications are that this buoyancy will continue.
