IELTS
IELTS at Milner College
Milner's IELTS preparation classes are ideal for those who need IELTS for university admission or for immigration purposes. Our IELTS classes are full time (Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week) plus up to 10 extra hours per week of optional self access free of charge. The course is taught by specialist teachers with a track record of IELTS success. Fees are the same as for Milner's General English courses plus a materials fee of $50.
Students study the four skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening. We aim to develop students' overall skills in each of these areas and to provide training in the specific strategies that they need to do well in each of the related form IELTS tests. The combination of general skills training and targeted examination preparation works well for students. The course is challenging but students find it very rewarding and there is a great feeling of camaraderie in the classes.
- Designed to develop students' basic IELTS skills to a level of great proficiency;
- An integrated IELTS preparation course, providing comprehensive exam skills development and reinforcement practice;
-
Ideal for students who have already completed some previous IELTS training or who are at an upper intermediate level or better.
If you would like to join the class you must first pass a pre-test (cost $20) which can be done at Milner College every Tuesday or Thursday at 14.00.
