Milner TESOL

English for Teaching Young Learners

The TESOL (English for Teaching Young Learners) course is for people who want to teach English to children and teenagers in their own countries.  Course participants need to have intermediate English, equivalent to IELTS 4.5/TOEFL 400/pre-FCE.

For 2009 we have five courses, each 5 weeks.  This course has proved so popular that we've actually had to add on an extra date to keep up with demand.

The course is run by Patti Harries, a CELTA and TESOL specialist of 20 years standing.  Her dedication has touched the lives of of the many trainees she has prepared and who have gone on to enjoy satisfying teaching careers.  Patti is part of the teacher training team, whose expertise stems from the 21 years Milner has been running the University of Cambridge CELTA course.

The course is also suitable for native English speakers whose academic qualifications are not sufficient for CELTA.
