COVID-19

Milner College’s COVID-19 Protocols

Due to the increased risk of COVID-19 transmission in a classroom environment, Milner College has adopted a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all students and staff. The policy will come into effect on 1st January, 2022.

Proof of vaccination will need to be provided on an annual basis and can be sent to accounts@milner.wa.edu.au

If you do not provide Milner College with genuine proof of vaccination, you will not be able to attend classes.

Students will be considered for an exemption on medical grounds if they provide a verified, genuine, written letter from a qualified medical GP. This does not include complementary medicine practitioners. Appropriate mask-wearing and social distancing measures must be taken at all times if granted an exemption.

In the event of an outbreak on-campus, Milner College reserves the right to move classes online with immediate effect.

Any staff member or student who tests positive to COVID-19 must notify Milner College immediately and not enter the premises until non-infectious.

Any student who needs to take leave due to contracting COVID-19 can do so and will have their course extended as per our pre-existing illness policy.

Milner College will not be held liable for any negative outcomes of its vaccination policy or any cases of COVID-19 on-campus, including death.

Our COVID-19 policy is based on the most recent Government advice and is subject to change, pending any new information or directives.
