Cambridge Exam Preparation in Perth (CRICOS Course Code: 074424G)

I can say that my English has been improved very quickly, especially my reading skills. Doing reading exercises with texts which have a lot of paragraphs helped me with my concentration on important things when reading and how to recognize them easily. Speaking classes were beneficial not just for my speaking test but also for my personal life abroad. It helped me to reduce my fear from mistakes while speaking and guess what, native speakers can take it and despite your wrong pronunciation or whatever they are willing to help you find the right word haha! During the course I worked as a waiter which also helped me so much with understanding and forced me to focus on words that I am going to say. Anyway I am satisfied with my results and I hope this is not my last Cambridge exam!

The FCE course at Milner helped me to develop and improve my skills and feel more confident and prepared for the exam. Even though the course was intense (with continuous exercises and mock exams), the teachers were capable of making us laugh and enjoy the classes.

I’m very grateful for having the opportunity of being taught by Alex and Matt, who supported us though the whole way until the day of the exam with the best explanations, advice and jokes! 😉

Milner provided me with extremely supportive teachers and staff, in a safe and relaxed learning environment, to ensure we could all have fun and make friends while working hard towards our individual goals.

Thanks to their guidance and encouragement, I successfully completed my Cambridge English Proficiency Certificate and have just been accepted into the Cambridge CELTA course, which was my primary aim!

First of all, I must say, taking part in a Cambridge course can be exhausting at times. Being an exam preparation course it requires discipline, motivation and hard work. However, it isn’t just about cramming for the final exam. The CAE course would always surprise me with something new: commonly used idioms, a great deal of vocabulary and advanced grammar structures. Also, the teachers put a lot of effort into passing on their knowledge in an appealing way, making going to Milner throughout these 11 intense weeks actually easy and enjoyable. Not only were the classes fun and energetic, but productive.

Attending the Cambridge course has definitely put me in a good position to sit for the exam. I can say that confidently after seeing my results. My English has improved considerably and I would highly recommend it to anyone, even if they are not sitting for the CAE. The knowledge and experience acquired are undoubtedly worthwhile.

It’s my honor to write about unforgettable experience in FCE. There were so many nice people and this is why I could enjoy this class. All classmates were studious and focused on their studying. Also, it was my great luck to be taught by two awesome teachers, Matt and Alex, who always helped us when we had problems. I utterly improved my English, especially speaking and writing. Hello guys! I am Miroslav from Czech Republic. I studied General English, PET and FCE Cambridge course at Milner. The courses were great experience for me but my English boosted because of Cambridge courses. They are definitely better in my opinion because studies go faster than general courses, our professional teachers explained us all grammar we needed and we practised it a lot! At the end of the course everybody was very well prepared for final exam. I made also new friendships because you study 3 months with the same class mates, you can support each other and also have a lot of fun. In my country the Cambridge courses take 10 months! Going to study Cambridge course abroad was the best decision in my life. Thanks to that experince I´ve got a job in international company and what is more, I´m able to communicate well in English in my daily life. I have to say big thanks to my amazing teachers for their knowledge and support!

I had the opportunity to do Cambridge FCE course at Milner College and it was definitely the best choice ever. The course was very challenging and effective for me. I could feel my development in few weeks. In addition, I made a lot of friends and enjoyed all classes. The teachers are amazing with a huge knowledge of teaching. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to participate in this experience. I strongly recommend Cambridge course at Milner College.

Before taking FCE class, I questioned how much my English skills would be improved as I had heard that FCE class was a kind of serious class as it aimed to prepare students to take the exam. Honestly, I did not pass the entrance exam at the first place so that it took me 3 months to improve my skills and finally, hard work paid off, I passed the exam at the second time. My memory of the first day in the class is still clear in my mind as there was a test which I could not do, and my classmates told me it was too easy for them. “Oh, my goodness” I told myself, then a question popped in my mind about how I would be a survivor in the next 3 months. It sounds funny, doesn’t it? Believe me! If you had been me, you would have been too serious. Anyway, time flies. At the end of the class, after doing uncountable number of worksheets, I found that the tests, which I had thought was too hard to do, turned into the easy ones for me. For you who want to join the class, I would like to say that it is ok if you don’t pass the exam at the first time because it means you are not ready for it. Keep going. I am quite sure that you will never regret if you have an experience like I do.

I had a great learning experience at Milner College. What really stood out to me was their flexibility and the positive learning environment. Additionally, my teacher Craig was capable, engaging and helped me learn step by step, the correct use of English grammar and language.
