Travelling overseas can sometimes be overwhelming so at Milner we are happy to help out and organise student accommodation.

We charge an Accommodation Placement Fee of AUD $340. All our host families have a valid Working with Children Clearance or a Police Clearance.

Odyssey Apartment

These are studio style apartments with 2 or 3 single beds, a kitchenette and bathroom with washer and dryer. These apartments would suit a student travelling alone who likes independence, or a couple looking for a private living arrangement or for friends travelling together who are happy to share a room. This is a great solution if you are looking for work in the city. For any questions or problems with the apartment, you can see a Milner College student services staff member Monday to Thursday, so it’s much easier than renting an apartment privately.

$370 per week plus 2 weeks bond $740 – this is refundable if everything is ok in the apartment when you leave. Add the Milner booking fee of $340, and the airport transfer fee of $140.

Milner College does have WiFi for students, but it sometimes doesn’t work very well in the apartments because they are underneath the building. You might need to arrange your own WiFi toggle.

Terrace Road Apartment

A 2 bedroom apartment with separate lounge room and kitchen in an apartment complex across the road from Langley Park. This is great for people who are looking to share an apartment with a friend or family member, but would like to have separate bedrooms. For any questions or problems with the apartment, you can see a Milner College student services staff member Monday to Friday, so it’s much easier than renting an apartment privately.

$280 per week plus 2 weeks bond $560 – this is refundable if everything is ok in the apartment when you leave. Add the Milner booking fee of $265.

Homestay

Living with one of our host families is a great way of learning about Australian culture and practising your English. Our host families welcome students into their household and some of our students have formed lifelong friendships with their host families.
All host families have security clearances.
If you are Under 18, please contact Milner College to ask about the special arrangements that we can organise for you with a homestay family.

Houseshare

House share is the same arrangement as Homestay, but students have access to the kitchen and prepare their own meals. House share is a great way to maintain your independence-(especially if you are particular about your meals), while still having some company and someone to practise your English with.

ECU Student Village

ECU student village is a great way to live with other English speaking students, in a suburb near Perth called Mt Lawley. The facility opened in 2011, has a swimming pool, a student life program, a music room, café and 24 hour security and support.

Due to Australian tenancy regulations, any bookings of over 3 months may need to be made by a student directly with the accommodation. Check with Milner College if you want to book a longer stay.

Between $225 and $258 per week, depending on room type
plus the Milner booking fee of $340. There is a minimum stay of 4 weeks.
ECU student village is in Mt Lawley, a short bus ride from the city and 30-40 minutes to Milner College.
Different room types are available, subject to availability with 3-6 house mates.
Monday to Friday 8:30 – 1am Saturday and Sunday 11am – 11pm. If your flight arrives at another time, we can arrange for someone to let you into your room.
Internet access is provided by BigAir in all areas of the Village. You are able to purchase this online through www.bigair.com.au. We suggest you visit the ECU website for detailed information

Campus Perth

Campus Perth is a new accommodation building in Perth, with some great facilities like a free gym membership, a common area with lounges and pool tables, and a rooftop with parties and barbecues.

Located in Northbridge on Stirling Street, this accommodation is right in the hustle and bustle of Perth’s city and nightlife. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Milner College, or 10 minutes on public transport.
